STREET ROD BUILDING SEMINARS
Due to the
overwhelming success of the 2009 Street Rod Building Seminars held in NSW, QLD
and VIC to assist the Street Rod Builder enthusiast in the building process of a
vehicle from beginning through to Registration. Rodbods Downunder has decided
to extend these Seminars to a two day event, with a more hands on
approach, located at the Rodbods
Workshop in Nabiac NSW.
The Seminar will
touch base on the following topics:

Technical Advice
·
Chassis design, construction and components
·
Fibreglass Bodies including laminating, steeling-out, fit-out and
preparation for paint
·
Fitting of Fenders
·
Basic Wiring
·
Body fit-out e.g. Fitting of Heater Demister, Wiper Kits, Seats
and Seatbelts
·
Accessories and Parts
·
Trim
·
Wheels and Tyre combinations
Discussions will
also include the difference between products and accessories, where to source
these and what to ask dealers about their products.
Whether you are
building a Fibreglass or Steel vehicle, no matter what make or model you will
be sure to benefit from the over 25 years experience Ian has in building street
rods as a Professional Rod Builder, with 100’s of fibreglass bodies, chassis
and numerous turn-key cars to his credit.
The initial Two
Day Seminar which was scheduled for the 8th and 9th of
May 2010 has been postponed due to work commitments.
We are currently
in the process of working out new dates to hold the Seminar and tentatively are
looking at either early September 2010 or November 2010. We will keep you
posted.
