Regarding the NSRG, I was hoping the gazetting of the document through NSW Transport/RMS would be a little quicker, but as we are all getting used to how the snail trail works through these departments as you can guess things have not moved that fast.

One good thing out of the slow process is that the Section called “Legal” has in their good heart decided that the Regulation should be changed, in layman’s terms once this has been done this Registration Scheme is embedded in legislation pretty much forever opposed to most changes or new arrangements through NSW Transport/RMS it is usually done as an Order which can be changed or dropped at any given time, this is huge and unprecedented. (There is no other Registration Scheme added to the Regulations).

The latest correspondence I received was yesterday informing me that they, the NSW Transport/RMS, hope to have the Street Rod Notice in place so that the Standard can commence on the 1st of August 2014, at least we now have a possible starting date in our sights
